The reigning Ghana Premier League (GPL) Champions were among the many top-flight who were active in the just ended transfer window.
The Phobians within the two-months off-season window signed ten new players, loaned out 3 and lost two players on contractual basis.
The club will be without one of their key members who steered team to their huge success last term, Benjamin Afutu, as well as Abednego Tetteh who lacked game time.
Afutu in the middle made things thick for the Rainbow team and in addition to his energetic performances and the balance he gives the team, his aerial superiority aided him 8 headed five goals in all competitions.
Unfortunately, Hearts could not reach agreement with him for contract extension after his deal run out at the end of the season.
For Tetteh, he was out favour and could not break into the matchday squad let alone starting lineup. Hence, the ex-Bechem United striker mutually terminated his contract with the club.
Hearts of Oak, therefore needed to make additions as they look to retain their league title and also seek to impress after making a long return to CAF Champions League football.
Big names who joined the club in during the window includes, Gladson Awako from Great Olympics, Enock Asubonteng from WAFA SC, Ushau Abu from Berekum Chelsea and a couple free transfers which includes returnee Kofi Kodzi.
Goalkeeper, Benjamin Yeboah, Eric Addo, and Michelle Sarpong are the three players sent on loan.
