The Taranga Lions of Senegal has become first African country to secure FIFA World Cup qualification play-off after their 3 – 1 away victory over Namibia on Tuesday, 12th October 2022 at the Independence Sports Stadium in Namibia. Germany also becomes first European side to qualify after grabbing 21points in 8 matches.
Senegal have so far won 4 matches from the 4 games they have played with 12points plus 9goals in Group H.
Senegal’s next game will be against Togo in the next 30 days but have already qualified for the play-off and will hope to qualify from the play-off to the Mundial in Qatar.
