Ghana Premier League side Kumasi Asante Kotoko will on the 14th October 2022 play United Arab Emirate’s giants Al Hilal United in Al Hamriyah Sports and club, Sharjah at 8:30AM UAE time (4:30AM Ghana Time) in a preparation ahead of the upcoming Ghana Premier League.
The club is currently having their preseason in Dubai with their newly appointed manager Dr. Prosper Nartey Ogum.
Kotoko’s last season trophy drought was a big blow to the team loosing both the GPL and the MTN FA Cup to Glorious Accra Hearts of Oak.
Kotoko made 12 signings after the season to replace the likes of Augustine Okrah, Wahab Adams, Naby Keita, Ibrahim Osman and Kwame Poku who left the club for Algerian side USM Alger in the middle of the season and also terminated the contract of Portuguese coach Mariano Barreto and was replaced by Dr. Prosper Nartey Ogum from WAFA after the season.
With the plans and the decision of the board and the management of the team Dubai is the suitable place for the club to have their preparations prior to the season.
Kotok have scheduled to play three friendly matches on the 14th, 18th and 20th of this month before they return to Ghana for the GPL.
