Kumasi Asante has completed the signing of a second Cameroonian forward Franck Mbella Thierry Etouga from AS Fortuna
The 20-year-old player will join Ghanaian Premier League outfit, Asante Kotoko on a three-year deal for an undisclosed fee, though the conditions are better than at Fortuna. According to kick442.com
This Pan-African Sports News portal understands Etouga’s international transfer certificate was to the Ghana Football federation on Monday for treatment of final transfer details.
The native from Yaounde, born September 2001 enjoyed a sensational season at AS Fortuna, scoring eight goals and assisted nine in 21 matches winning the VAR player of the month March 2021.
The player’s exploits this term helped his club finished third in the domestic Championship.
Unfortunately for fans of Fortuna the player that inspired hopes in the final third has been converted to a Porcupine Warrior even before they finish enjoying his brilliance.

In Etouga, Kotoko have a player who can dribble with ease and also guarantee double digits interms of goal contribution per season especially as a partnership with Mfegue.
The switch to Ghana provides the first opportunity for the player to display his know-how abroad though he is no stranger to International Football.
Etouga was a part of the Cameroon team that participated and reached the quarter-final of the 2021 Under-20 African cup of Nations Tournament in Mauritania in January.
The multiple nominee for the VAR award also helped Cameroon win the 2020 Zonal tournament – UNIFFAC in December 2020 in Equatorial Guinea, scoring a goal and assisting once in the process.
He is expected to fly to Dubai from Cameroon on Thursday 14th October 2021 to join the rest of the Kotoko squad currently in a pre-season tour in the Gulf country.
The Porcupine Warriors will get their campaign underway with away at Dawu to lock horns with Dreams FC before returning home to host Bechem United in matchday Two of the next Ghana Premier League season.
