The Phobians have scheduled four training sessions before the game on Sunday, October 17.
Hearts of Oak’s spokesman, Opare Addo in interview with Asempa FM confirmed there no major injury situation at the team’s camp.
Report reaching ghanasportspage.com indicates that midfielder Emmanuel Nettey is yet to hit full fitness for the match.
Nettey was doubtful due to a knock but he took part in a full session on Thursday, hoping to recover fully before Sunday.
Caleb Amankwah who suffered an injury in preliminary round game against CI Kamsar returned for a friendly Dzifa FC and looks set to feature in the WAC test.
Moreover, midfielder Abdul-Aziz Nurudeen engaged in team training for the first time since February, 2021. The Ghana U-23 man is in line to make the matchday squad after his long return.
Goalkeeper, Richard Attah has also resumed training immediately after his national assignment with the Black Stars during the international break. He joined his teammates for the afternoon session yesterday.
WAC on the other hand are expected to arrive in Ghana today.
