Moroccans giants Wydad Athletic Club will host Ghanaians Champions Accra Hearts of Oak on 24th October 2021 in the 2nd preliminary round 2nd leg fixture of the CAF Champions League.
Wydad AC will play their Champions League campaign without their numerous fans rally behind them as the Confederation of African Football (CAF) has ordered for their game against Accra Hearts of Oak to be played behind closed doors due to COVID-19 pandemic situation in Morocco.
Reports gathered by ghanasportspage.com indicate that any person supposed to be inside the inner perimeter will need to have a COVID-19 pass kit before they will be allowed. Thus security guards, photographers, Health officials will be checked before the game. Our Source also indicates that only a few Sports journalists will be allowed to enter the Stadium.
Hearts head into the second leg in Morocco with a goal advantage after beating the Red and Whites 1-0 at the Accra Sports Stadium on Sunday 17th October 2021.
