Former Hearts of Oak Managing Director Neil Mortabge-Armstrong insists that the Glorious Accra Hearts of Oak will conquer the African terrain again as far as football is concerned.

Accra Hearts of Oak are competing in the ongoing CAF Champions League having won all their two games played in Accra, defeating CI Kamsar by 2 goals to none and 1 nill victory over Wydad Athletic Club of Morocco.

Hearts of Oak stands in a favorite position to qualify for the group stages if they pick a point in their next game against the Moroccan side come Sunday in the return league of the play-off.

Hearts of Oak were crowned the winners of the Ghana Premier League 2020-2021 season and the MTN FA Cup.

According to the ex-Phobia Managing Director, Hearts of Oak will surely conquer Africa again checking their current performance.

Talking to Sir Martin on GL RADIO in China, he explained, “Hearts of Oak can conquer Africa again. there’s nothing that is impossible. They’ve been wonderful stories of a teams that nobody gave a dock chance to advance to break levels in the tournament they played. Back to when Denmark won the European Championship to when Greece won the European Championship and even when Hearts of Oak went to beat Esperance after so many years they’ve never lost at home but Hearts of Oak when there to do it.

Nobody gave us that chance and I do exclusion from those stories to say that there’s nothing that is impossible in the contest of Accra Hearts of Oak, our motto is ‘Never Say Die’ and these players are showing that they understand the tradition, they understand the culture, they understand the work that and what it takes when playing for a club as great as Accra Hearts of Oak. This season will not be easy.

“Am very measured in my expectations of the year. I see the makings of a team that can challenge for honours in African clubs football and if you can keep a crop of players together they would have their confidence even stronger and the supporters are as united as we were in 2000 and 2004, 2005. He added.
