Dormaa-based GPL side Aduana Stars engaged newly promoted Division 2 side Asekem FC in a pre-season game as part of their preparations ahead of the new season.
Asekem won the first half of the game highlighting their 1-0 scoreline on the scoreboard but the GPL side Ogya Boys showed their strength as a top-flight to be on their feet to level the scoreline and later making two courtesy Emmanuel Gyamfi and Farouk Adams.
Asekem FC also heightened their performance to draw the game with a 2 – 2 scoreline.
Emmanuel Gyamfi came in as a substitute for Kofigo Brabby on the 40th minute and registered his first goal in the 60th minute to level the scoreline.
The game was kicked off at exactly 2 pm this afternoon at the Asante Mampong Beposo park, where Asekem FC plays all their home matches.
The Ghana Premier League 2021-2022 season kicks off 29th of this month and the Dormaa-based club is highly optimistic of showing a stunning performance when the season starts.
