Black Stars head coach, Milovan Rajevac met Sheriff Tiraspol midfielder, Edmund Addo after the latter’s side lost 3-1 to Inter Milan in the UEFA Champions League (UCL).
The Serbian gaffer has began his tour to monitor Ghanaian players abroad and thus was present at the San Siro stadium on Tuesday night.
The Ghanaian midfielder lasted 75 minutes for the Moldovan champions as they record their first loss in the competition after three games in Group D.
Addo was handed a debut call up for the previous international break but Sheriff refused to release the player to honour what was a late call up.
The young midfielder has caught the eyes of many Ghanaians with is impressive performance in the UCL so far with some routing for his inclusion in the Black Stars.
Coach Milo as part of his visit to the venue met Addo and seem to be impressed with the latter’s performance yesterday.
A call up might be on the cards for the soon to come international break and probably the 21-year-old could make his debut for Ghana to ward off a possible nationality switch to Moldova.
Edmund Addo prior to the match had met former Black Stars and Inter Milan player Kwadwo Asamoah to share short moment before the game.
Sheriff Tiraspol sits top of the group tied with Real Madrid on 6 points despite the loss to Inter who are 3rd with 4 points. Shakhtar Donetsk Are at the bottom with 1 point.
