The Senior Men’s National Team of Ghana have moved up one place in the latest FIFA rankings.
Ghana have climbed to 52nd on the monthly rankings by the world’s football governing body.
The Black Stars had a good turnout during the October international break, beating Zimbabwe twice in the FIFA World Cup qualifiers.
Despite moving up on the world rankings, Ghana remains 7th in terms of CAF rankings, behind Senegal(20th in the world), Tunisia(25th in the world), Morocco(30th in the world), Algeria(33rd in the world), Nigeria (34th in the world) and Egypt (38th in the world)- by other of 1st-6th.
The top ten National teams in the world saw no new entrants from last month’s ranking but rather swap in positions.
Belgium and Brazil respectively maintained the number one and number two positions. Whereas France and Italy moved from 4th and 5th respectively to 3rd and 4th on the list.
England who were ranked third last month have dropped to 5th with Spain overtaking Portugal for the 7th place while Argentina remained 6th.
Mexico and Demark sits 9th and 10th respectively to complete the top ten for the month of October.
