The Moroccan Champions Wydad Athletic Club head coach Walid Rekraki has named starting XI to face Ghana’s giants Accra Hearts of Oak, in the second leg of the preliminary round of the African Champions League, on Sunday evening.
It is expected that the Wydad squad will witness some modifications, in light of the many absences that the red team suffers from.
And the coach of the red team, Walid Al-Rakraki, is heading to rely on Reda Al-Taknaouti in the goalkeeping department, Ashraf Dari, Sheikh Kumara, Ayoub Al-Amoud, and Yahya Attia Allah in the line of defense, provided that the middle of the field is formed from the trio Anas Sargat, Brigadier General Yahya Gibran, and Ayman Al-Hassouni.
The offensive line remains a headache in Ras Al-Rakraki in the absence of Zuhair Al-Mutarji, Reda Al-Jaadi, Guy Mbenza, Joel Tsumu, and Salah Al-Din Bin Yesho.
The closest option to lead Wydad’s offensive line in this match is the trio of Moayed El Lafi, Simon Msova, and Moncef Sharashem.
Wydad Athletic Club Starting XI:
Reda Al-Taknaouti
Ashraf Dari
Ayoub Al-Amoud
Yahya Attia Allah
Brigadier Yahya Gibran
Ayman Al-Hassouni.
Zuhair Al-Mutarji
Guy Mbenza
Moayed El Lafi
Simon Msova
Moncef Sharashem.
Accra Hearts of Oak lead 1-0 on aggregate after securing a slim victory last Sunday at the Accra Sports Stadium.
