Asante Kotoko SC thrash lower tier side PAC Academy FC 6-0 at the Adako Jachie training center.
Joseph Amoako, 18, scored twice, Captain Ismail Abdul Ganiyu also hit double, Samuel Boateng was also on the scoresheet and an own goal wrap up an exciting afternoon for few fans who turned up for the game.
The Reds benefited from an own goal in the early minutes of the game. Ganiu added another to cushion the lead for Kotoko to conclude the first half.
The second half saw more goals where Boateng increased the lead to 3 before Amoako scored to make it 4-0.
Ganiu and Amoako added another each l to complete thier brace and the big win in front of about 1,000 fans at the club’s training center.
Coach Proper Narteh has now won his first game since taking charge as the new trainer for the Porcupines.
The gaffer had to wait until his fourth game in charge for a much needed win ahead of the Ghana Premier League season. He lost 1 and drew 2 of the previous three pre-season games.
Asante Kotoko face Dreams FC on Saturday to begin the new campaign in an away fixture at the Accra Sports Stadium.
