The president of the Ghana Football Association, Kurt Okrau says “No Vaccination No Entry” policy for the fans ahead of the start of the 2021/22 Ghana Premier League season.
He made this announcement at the 27th ordinary session of congress at the Ghana Football Association at Ghanaman Soccer Centre of Excellence in Prampram on Thursday, October 28.
The COVID-19 pandemic has affected the whole world and especially the football fraternity.
According to the GFA boss it is mandatory that every fans will have to show an evidence of being vaccinated before an entry into our various stadia when the season kick start on Friday.
“As we get ready for the new season, it is so important we get ourselves ready for the demands of the new season. We are engaging the government to ensure that we have more fans accessing our games but one of the key requirements would be the need for all of us to ensure that we are vaccinated to be able to access football.
“So it means all our players and staff would be vaccinated and all football fans who watch our games live at the football stadium must prove that they have received the vaccination,” he said.
The Ghana Premier League 2021/22 season kick start tomorrow with an opening liner between Accra Lions and Elmina Sharks at the Accra Sports Stadium.
