Players of Ghanaian football tavern Kenpong Football Academy (KFA) have successfully undergone medical screening ahead of the 2021-2022 football season.
The players underwent six different medical tests after which they also did fitness and endurance tests. Overall, 40 players of the academy were medically examined.
Objective of the medicals is to ascertain their health status while obtaining a baseline medical portfolio on the players.
Doctors from medical facilities in Accra and Winneba supervised the medical tests. After the medicals, players who are 18 years at the academy also had their Covid-19 vaccination at the Winneba Hospital.
This exercise forms part of the team’s preparation for the forthcoming National Division Two season.
The Winneba-based institution, bankrolled by Ghanaian business mogul and former Asante Kotoko vice-chairman, Kennedy Agyapong is bent on talent nurturing in the West African country.
