Augustine Okrah had a historic performance yesterday after their 4-0 remarkable victory over Medeama SC at the Nana Fosu Gyeabour Park in a commencement of a season.
He netted a goal for Bechem United and assisted twice to seek his boys demolishing Medeama SC.
The former GPL winner depicts his return to Bechem United as the ‘Best Decision’ following his contract expiration with the Porcupines, Asante Kotoko.
“It is the best decisions although there were different offers on my desk. I’m excited to join Bechem United and I believe things will turn around for me”
“We have a great start of the season and I hope we will continue with this great performance.
“I always say that league games, unlike cup matches, are marathons so we have to lower our expectations somehow,” he added.
Bechem United will play Asante Kotoko in Match Day 2 at the Baba Yara Sports Stadium and are likely to parade three ex-Kotoko players. They are now first on the league table with three points plus four goals.
Ex-Kotoko defender Emmanuel Asante, midfielder Latif Anabila and Okrah are likely to be in the starting lineup for Bechem United.
Okrah was the topscorer for 2013/14 GPL with 16 goals and Eight assists and was named as the Best Player Of The Season.
