Legon Cities on Saturday afternoon welcomed the GPL returnees in a season’s Week 2 game at the Accra Sports Stadium. It was a game for both sides to pick their first win of the season. Legon played against Hearts of Oak in a goalless draw in Week 1 at the Accra Sports Stadium with the returnees drawing 1-1 against Accra Great Olympics at the Aliu Mahama Sports Stadium.
Goals from Joseph Agyei, Nathaniel Akwah, and Jonah Atuquaye gave Legon Cities the three points whilst David Sandan scored twice as a consolation for RTU.
