Gladson Awako has revealed his readiness to play in the just started Ghana Premier League but is confused with the team to play for (whether Hearts of Oak or Great Olympics).
Awako signed two years contract with Hearts of Oak but he later announced his resignation of playing for the last season’s GPL and FA Cup champions.
Awako is currently not working with any of these two teams.
The midfield dynamo, Gladson Awako shockingly informed Hearts of Oak he is no longer interested in playing for the Ghanaian giants barely a month after joining the GPL champions.
The 30 year old trained with Hearts for more than two weeks prior to the CAF Champions League clash with Guinean CI Kamsar.
The midfielder had an impressive performance after returning to the domestic league last season. He scored six goals and provided seven assists to help Olympics finish sixth on the table last season.
Yussif Chibsah, the agent for the 31-year-old revealed that his clients opted to join the Phobian family. After this statement from Chibsah, CEO of Olympics Oluboi Commodore also came out to state publicly that Awako’s contract with Hearts of Oak has been terminated after the Phobians failed to stick to the agreement of the contract meanwhile according to ghanasportspage.com, Hearts of Oak has registered Gladson Awako for both Champions League, Confederations Cup, and Ghana Premier League.
According to the midfielder he wants to play but feels very difficult concerning whether to play for Hearts of Oak or Great Olympics.
