Today’s Match Day 3 exhilarating game between Bibiani Gold Stars and Kumasi Asante Kotoko at the Dun’s Park in 2021/22 Ghana Premier League has come to an end with the Porcupine Warriors going all the way to Kumasi with the victory.
The match attracted many spectators, along with many other local dignitaries to witness the thrilling football match. The match was full of vigor and excitement. All the members of both teams gave the best of their efforts and displayed their excellent skills and performance.
The game was kicked off by the home side. Gold Stars showed a classic performance but they missed all their chances, going off target and playing the ball(s) into the gloves of Razak Abalora.
Both teams were not able to convert their chances which led the first into a goalless draw before the lad Isaac Oppong took upon himself to give the Porcupines the lead at the 55th minute after Asmah was tripped down as he enters the box and the referee waved play-on and Oppong get to the ball on time to bend a midair strike into the net.
The only goal from Isaac Oppong gave Kotoko the victory helping Prosper Nartey Ogum’s side to go three games unbeaten.
Asante Kotoko has moved to 9points sitting on top of the league as Gold Stars remain with 4points.
Gold Stars will travel to play Elmina Sharks in Week 4 whiles Kotoko welcomes Eleven Wonders in Kumasi, Baba Yara Sports Stadium.
