Obuasi-based Ahsanti Gold SC has terminated the contract of Coach Ernest Thompson Quartey as their gaffer. Ashanti Gold suffered a humiliating 2-0 defeat to their regional rivals King Faisal over the weekend in the GPL Match Day 3.
Ashantigold are found on the 9th position of the ongoing GPL season with four points after Week 3 but they wish to continue with a new gaffer who can guarantee them their needs as a coach.
Per report, Technical Director of the club, Ricardo Rocha will take over as an interim boss untill the appointment of new manager for the rest of the season.
