Egyptian 43-year-old FIFA referee, Mohammed Adel Hussein has been appointed to regulate the CAF Confederations Cup play-off first league encounter between the the Glorious Accra Hearts of Oak and Algerian high flying JS Souara at the Accra Sports Stadium, Ghana.
The 43-year-old also works as police officer and is a member of the Egyptian National Police.
Adel became a FIFA referee in 2018 and has served as an international referee since then.
He was named among the match officials who participated in the 2018–19 CAF Champions League and has been consistent in the African continent as far as football is concerned.
The game is scheduled to kick off on Sunday, 28th November, 2021.
Hearts of Oak were dropped from the CAF Champions League after a humiliating 6-1 result to Moroccan side Wydad Athletic Club and was paired to play Algerian side JS Souara who played in the preliminary stage of the CAF Confederations Cup.
