18-year-old Black Stars awaiting forward Felix Afena Gyan has scored his first two goals for Italian Serie A side AS Roma to guide his side for a 2-0 victory over Genoa at the Luigi Ferraris Stadium.
Afena Gyan separated both sides with his 82nd minute goal assisted by Armenian midfielder Henrikh Mkhitaryan before making it 2 at the 90th minute for Roma.
The 18-year-old replaced Eldor Shomurodov in the 75th minute and drilled in his opener after 82 minutes.
He made his Serie A debut for Roma’s senior squad on 27 October 2021 against Cagliari before featuring as a substitute in Roma’s 2-1 defeat to AC Milan on 31 October 2021.
