Following the performance of Kotoko’s Isaac Oppong against Eleven Wonders Coach Prosper Nartey Ogum has praised the player for demonstrating a fantastic performance in all their four games.
In four games, the prolific forward has scored three times and assisted twice to guide Kotoko to lead the table with 12th points.
Oppong grabbed his third goal of the season against Eleven Wonders in their emphatic 2-0 victory and also won the MOTM.
Ogum is pleased with the performance of the lad for playing a pivotal role in Kotoko’s unbeaten round.
“I think he is a fantastic player. He is talented and he works very hard too so is a blend of talent, hard work, and his ability to listen to tactical instructions on the field of play. Whatever you tell him to do, he does it well and he can even add up to what you tell him to do so this young guy is going to go far if he can keep his focus, keep his calm and keep his confidence.” He stated.
The 18-year old forward joins the Porcupine Warriors from Division Two side Bectero Sassana on a four-year contract.
Oppong had an impressive campaign in Division Two last term which earned him “Neymar” by the football fans.
He bagged 22 goals and made 11 assists in 17 games in the Sunyani Division Two Zone.
