Coach Yaw Acheampong has lamented over a delay in issuing of cards of his eight-strong players in the ongoing season after a defeat to Asante Kotoko.
Eleven Wonders have gone four games without a win. Already, some of the teams have sacked their coaches based on their low performances in the early days of the season.
Recently, Ashanti Gold terminated their contract with Coach Ernest Thompson while Medeama also followed the steps to fire Coach Ignatius Osei-Fosu after just three games.
According to the gaffer, he isn’t afraid of losing his job but the cause of their low performance is due to the delay issuing of cards of his eight-strong players.
In post-match remarks, he lamented, “I don’t have a problem now because eight of our strong registered players are not eligible to play because their cards are still with the FA so we are only using what we have in the matches. We are just doing our best.
“It makes the work very difficult because if eight of your strong players can’t play then you have to use what you have so we are doing our best and I believe things will turn around against Elmina Sharks in our next game.” He concluded.
