The Referees Committee of the Ghana Football Association has appointed Wa-based 28-year-old Class One referee, Alfaa Ba-Adey to officiate the GPL Match Day 5 encounter between Karela United and Kumasi Asante Kotoko at the Anyinase CAM Park on Sunday, 28 November, 2021.
Referee Alfaa Ba-Adey will be assisted by Francis Bondzie Arthur & David Addico at the lines while Abdulai Ibrahim will be on duty as fourth official. The Match Commissioner of the game will be Mr. Oduro Nyarko.
The young referee has appeared in GPL matches for seven times. He has so far issued 16 yellow cards and 2 red cards.
He handed his first 1st league debut on 24th December, 2020.
Kumasi Asante Kotoko will hope to extend their unbeaten round to five while Karela United will also try to stop the Porcupines for the first time in the just started GPL season.
Kumasi Asante Kotoko are yet to taste defeat which guarantee them 12 points to be on top of the league table. Karela United are also yet to pick their second win of the season.
