Breaking News: Hearts of Oak to depart Ghana tomorrow with 23-man squad for Saoura return leg

Ghanasportspage.com can exclusively confirm that the Glorious Accra Hearts of Oak will depart Ghana on Wednesday 1st December 2021 with a 23-man squad for the CAF Confederations Cup play-offs second leg clash against JS Saoura in Algeria.

The team will travel towards Algerian capital, via a director Emirates airline from the Kotoka International Airport, Accra passing through Dubai Airport in the United Arab Emirates before the final arrival in the town of Méridja in the Béchar Province where the game comes off.

The team will spend some few hours in Alger before they continue the journey to Bechar. Ghanasportspage.com can confirm that, a total of 23 players, ten (10) technical members as well as one commercial member and some management members will make the trip to Algeria. Hearts of Oak will arrive on Friday, December 3, 2021.

Their star player Gladson Awako whose VISA is not ready due to his late return to the club as well as goalkeepeer Ben Mensah who will be hoping to further his course for a coaching batch on 5th, December in Sunyani will not be available for the journey.

Hearts of Oak stands in a right position to progress into the next stage of the competition with 2-0 lead in the first leg held in Accra.

The kick off time for the game is 16:45GMT(4:5pm Local time)
