Ghana are in preparations towards the upcoming FIFA U-20 Women’s World Cup qualifiers.
A total of Eight( 8) matches will be played this weekend from Friday, December 3rd to Sunday, December 5th for the third qualifying round first leg of the FIFA U-20 Women’s World Cup in Costa Rica.
Head coach of the Black Princesses, Ben Fokuo has already invited six players of the impressive Hasaacas Ladies to add up 30-woman squad been called in late August.
The invited 6-players comprises of goalkeeper Grace Banwah, Asanah Bugre, Rahama Jafaru, Azumah Bugre, Doris Boaduwaa and player of the tournament, Evelyn Badu.
This new stage will mark the imminence of results and only two teams will represent the continent at next year’s world cup.
The Black Princeses coach have already invited 30-woman squad at Ghanaman Soccer Centre of Excellence (GSCE) for preparation ahead of the Zambia game.
The Princesses are yet to kick a ball in this qualifiers. They were exempted from the first round. The second saw their paired opponent, Mauritania withdrew from the qualifier which give easy passage for them to the third round.
The Zambians will host Ghana’s U-20 women team on December 4th, 2021 at the Nkoloma Stadium in Lusaka-Zambia.
The game is scheduled to take place at exactly 13:00GMT(1:00pm Ghana time).
The first leg of the third round will take place this weekend and the return leg is scheduled two weeks later.
Ghana Black Princesses will be traveling to Lusaka city in Zambia tomorrow.
