First Lady’s Cup: Hasacass Ladies knocks Ampem Darkoa Ladies for fifth title of the year

Hasacass Ladies belabored Ampem Darkoa Ladies to lift their fifth trophy of the season at the Accra Sports Stadium in a penalty shootout after a 1-1 draw in the full throttle of the First Lady’s Cup.

Ampem Darkoa Ladies were hoping to walk home with the cup after loosing the Women’s Premier League Super Cup to the ‘Doos’.

Ampem Darkoa went to the dressing room with a goal lead through a 29th minute goal from Sonia Opoku.

Hasacass Ladies came into the second half with a splendid performance and fought for the equalizer at the 65th minute courtesy Jafaru Rahama.

After sharing the spoil at the end of the 90minute, Hasacass Ladies who recently dominated in Africa wrapped up with a 4-3 victory in the penalty shootout to walk home with the trophy tagged First Lady’s Cup.
