Congolese defender, Raddy Ovouka is set to drag his club, Accra Hearts of Oak to the Disciplinary Committee of FIFA Ghanasportspage.com understand.
A close source indicates that the player has received an offer from an unnamed Moroccan side which according to his contract terms with his current club, he should be released if there’s an offer that he complies with but Hearts of Oak have refused to release the player which doesn’t feature the contract terms between the two bodies.
The player hasn’t trained with the team since the game against JS Saoura in Algeria as a result of injury.
Ovouka’s contract with the GPL reigning champions will end in 2024 meanwhile the contract terms enable the Congolese left-back to make any move despite two years on his contract.
News from a close source has revealed the player has given the team a few hours to release him but if the club fails to do so he will lodge a petition against the continental club masters.
After an impressive performance last year helping the team to lift both the GPL title and FA Cup, TP Mazembe showed interest to launch a $100,000 bid whiles Al Ahly also planned to pay slightly higher in exchange for the service of the left-back.
