The Ghana Premier League Week 8 commenced this morning with an early kick off between Accra Great Olympics vs Bibiani Gold Stars at the Sogakope Red Bull Arena in Volta Region.
Olympics played as the home side from Accra due to the ongoing renovation at the Ohene-Djan Sports Stadium.
The home side in four games have lost two and drawn two.
Going into the game, the Accra boys hoped for a recovery to the winning way.
The Hunters suffered a 2-0 defeat to Olympics through an opener from James Akaminko with 83rd strike from Maxwell Abbey Quaye.
Impressively, the Hunters recently defeated Bechem United by a goal nill in Week 7.
Great Olympics are currently sitting on the 4th position with 11points whiles Gold Stars are also found on the 7th position with 10points.
Olympics will travel to Obuasi in their next fixture against Ashantigold and Gold Stars also visiting Eleven Wonders in Techiman.
