The reigning champions of the Ghana Premier League Accra Hearts of Oak have provided a joyful update to the general sporting public on their gaffer Samuel Boadu after he was rushed to the hospital in Elmina during their game against Elmina Sharks in Week 8 of the GPL.
The update indicates that the gaffer has been discharged from the hospital and is responding positively to treatment ahead of their Week 9 clash against their newly-promoted rivals, Accra Lions at the Cape Coast Sports Stadium.
The game was moved to the Cape Coast Sports Stadium due to the closure of the Accra Sports Stadium for renovation.
After Coach Samuel Boadu was rushed to the hospital his deputy coach Hamza Obeng stepped up to the flanks to secure the Phoobian’s first victory of the season through a magnificent strike and debut goal from Gladson Awako.
The club will fight to secure their second win of the season to move up from the relegation zone when they lock horns with the lads.
With two outstanding two games, the club sits 17th on the table with 6points.
