FIFA U20 Women’s WC Qualifiers: Evelyn Badu scores to hand Ghana vital win over Zambia

The Black Princesses of Ghana defeated the Young Copper Queens of Zambia by a goal to nil at the Cape Coast Sports Stadium.

Ghana needed a win of any margin against the Zambians to advance as Badu aim to lead her country to a sixth outing at Costa Rica 2022.

Evelyn Badu handed Ghana the lone goal victory in the second leg.

The 19-year-old forward inspired Hassacas Ladies to November’s maiden TotalEnergies Caf Women’s Champions League second-place finish and snapped up the golden boot, scoring five goals in five games.

The national U-20 female team, the Black Princesses drew with the Young Copper Queens of Zambia in the first leg of the FIFA U-20 World Cup qualifier at the Nkoloma Stadium in Zambia.
