Treble winners of inter-club competitions in Africa, Glorious Accra Hearts of Oak have praised their star, Daniel Afriyie Barnieh for his hard work to achieve the 46th SWAG Awards home-based Footballer Of The Year following his scintillating performance.
In just a year, Barnieh grabbed four great honours, the U20 WAFU ZONE-B, the U20 Africa Championship, Ghana Premier League, and the MTN FA Cup.
Not just a playmaker, but he set an example as a captain of the U20 and scored a brace during their final game. He also had a great performance during the title race with Hearts of Oak to land home the GPL title and the MTN FA Cup.
Following this magnificent performance, the U20 star was invited into Black Stars during the World Cup qualifiers among other local players.
