Board Member of Accra Hearts of Oak has explained the contract details between the club and the Congolese international Raddy Ovouka following a rumor of contract termination since the player wants to leave.
Multiple sources have confirmed that the club has mutually terminated the contract of the player to free him for a new move but Alhaji Akambi has denied the report. Ghanasportspage.com understand.
The player in a few days reported to FIFA to interfere in the saga to help him make a new move.
According to Alhaji Akambi, no team has knocked on the door with $450,000 for the service of the left-back.
“No team has come with $450,000 for the service of the player. The truth is one. His contract with the club will end in 2024 but we have a buy-out clause. Maybe some team will show interest in him to get his service as a loan player with an option to buy which is $450,000, that is what is in the contract.
“The team has come asking for his service but he will serve as loan in the first year and if they want to permanently penned down his signature they will let us know two months to the end of his contract if they can meet the wages.
“We are having talks with them but the guy is rushing as if…. whiles the contract says by January 1st you have to join that team.
“We are in preparations since last week but he is rushing, not reporting for training. We can base on that to punish him because it doesn’t mean if you get a club you ignore us and do whatever you want to do. Just forget it but he will go, we have accepted to let him go but we haven’t terminated his contract for now.” Alhaji Akambi revealed.
