His Excellency Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia, the vice president of the Republic of Ghana has emphasized that the NPP government led by His Excellency Nana Addo Dankwa Akuffo-Addo has invested more in Ghana Sports in past five years.
Dr. Bawumia delivered this message during a speech at the 46th SWAG Awards held in Accra.
“Sports has become a global industry through which opportunities are created for the youth, and I urged stakeholders of the Ghanaian sports industry to take advantage of government’s digitization drive and transform their brands and also maximize revenue to realize the potential sports offers to the youth and the economy.” He said.
“Our government, in the past five years, has invested more in sports infrastructure and promotion, and I reiterated the government’s commitment to supporting the sports industry to thrive.” He concluded.
