The Baba Yara Sports Stadium once again hosted the two Kumasi giants, King Faisal and Asante Kotoko for the second time following the ‘Insha Allah’ boys 3-2 victory to halt the Reds unbeaten run in the GPL.
Today’s game was a Round 64 encounter to decide who makes it to the next round of the competition tagged as MTN FA Cup.
Alhaji Grusah’s boys fought hard to move forward through a lone goal from Baba Yahaya at the 26th minute.
The Porcupines are out of the competition whiles King Faisal will be competing in the next round that contains 32 teams.
King Faisal is the first team to beat Asante Kotoko for second time this season to make Alhaji Grusah proud.
