Captain for the GPL title holders, Fatawu Mohammed has extended his contract with the club to two years.
Fatawu Mohammed joined Accra Hearts of Oak in 2013 from Real Tamale United and has become one of the longest-serving players to help the club to and their ten years trophy drought after leading the club to win last season’s GPL title.
The 29-year old defender will stay with the club until 2023.
“The Management of Accra Hearts of Oak is delighted to announce that our first team captain, Fatawu Mohammed has signed a 2-year contract extension at the club which will run till 2023.” The club announced it through their official Twitter page.
