Accra Hearts of Oak head coach Samuel Boadu is unhappy with his side’s draw against Bechem United in Sunday’s league match week 11 encounter, describing it as a bad game for the Phobians.
Hearts of Oak were held to a 0-0 draw at the Accra sports stadium by Bechem United on Sunday, and coach Samuel Boadu believes that the results rather favoured the visitors. To him, Hearts of Oak could have carried the day should his attackers prove a little more clinical in front of goal.
“It’s not bad but for us (Hearts of Oak) it’s a bad game for us”, Boadu told StarTimes reporters after the game. “We created chances at the latter part of the game but it’s quiet unfortunate we couldn’t make it”, he lamented.
The former Medeama SC gaffer admitted that Bechem United’s coach Ocansey Kassim Mingle’s tactics worked perfectly for him and his side, and they deserve a congratulations from him.
“But I will congratulate Bechem United because their game plan worked perfectly for them”, Boadu continued. They came in to protect their back, the defence – they have very good heights, also delayance and it worked for them”, he acknowledged.
Boadu further noted that the drawn game against Bechem United leaves Hearts of Oak with more room for improvement.
“Today’s game gave us more room to work more harder to improve our standard”, he confessed.
