Former Hearts of Oak Midfielder Emmanuel Nettey has completed a move to Iraqi Division One side Duhok Sports Club after seeing out his contract with the Phobians.
Nettey signed a contract with the Dohuk based club following a successful negotiations with the Iraqi lower tier side.
The former Inter Allies midfielder’s contract with Ghanaian giants Hearts of Oak ran out on December 31, 2021, making him a free agent. Nettey refused to extend with Hearts of Oak after the expiration of his contract, and he joins the Iraqi division one as a free agent.

Nettey won the Ghana Premier League and the FA Cup with Hearts of Oak in the 2020/2021 football season, and was very instrumental in Hearts of Oak’s exploits. For the current season, he played 5 out 9 of the league games so far with Hearts of Oak.
