Ghana Premier League leaders Asante Kotoko have acknowledged the effienciency of their Cameroon import George Mfegue for his imprints at the club so far.
Mfegue joined the Kumasi based club ahead of the commencement of the 2021/2022 Ghana Premier League (GPL), and has hit the ground running. The Cameroonian striker has given defenders in the league a reason to be wary of him any time he leads the attack of the Porcupine Warriors.
The dangerous goal poacher has scored five (5) goals so far in the ongoing GPL season. He scored against Real Tamale United, hit a brace on two different occasions against Legon Cities. Mfue once again came to the party when his side Asante Kotoko suffered a 3-2 home defeat to city rivals King Faisal, when he scored all the two goals for coach Prosper Narteh Ogun’s side.
Having proved deadly to the defence of almost all the clubs he has faced so far in the 11-week old ongoing league season, Asante Kotoko has taken to social media to salute the relentless efforts of the expatriate striker. “This is a George Mfegue appreciation posts!! Solid performance from our Cameroonian striker so far”, Asante Kotoko wrote via tweeter.
