Medeama SC were rescued during the 80th minute in GPL Week 12 opener against Berekum Chelsea through Kwasi Donsu.
The visitors grabbed a commanding advantage at the 29th minutes of Friday’s Premier League clash in Tarkwa Akoon Park.
Chelsea got in the first half as leaders courtesy Mohammed Alhassan but they were disappointed after leaving their doors for the equalizer during the 80th minute.
The host tried as much as possible to come from behind searching for a lead after Kwesi Donsu’s leveller but they could not find the goal for the three points.
Both goalkeepeers were kept busy as the game wore on but neither side could find a winner even as the host ramped up the pressure on their visitors to near-intolerable level – much to the delight of the top three leaders.
The Mauve and Yellow boys are yet to taste defeat after three games.
The 1-1 draw leaves Chelsea 10 points behind the top spot and Medeama trailing the leaders, Asante Kotoko and King Faisal by 4 points with a game in hand.
