Former Black Stars head coach, Charles Kwabla Akonnor has shared his coaching memories during his days at Ghana’s Senior National team,the Black Stars.
Akonnor was sacked in September 2021 alongside his two assistants after which current coach Milovan Rajevac took over prior to the World Cup qualifying game against South Africa.
The Ghanaian coach claims he did not get things right and it was always a struggle whenever he is inviting players to the national team.
“You know my time, it was always a struggle when we were inviting players. All I wish most of the time was for us to get the full squad so if we have the full house then it’s good but my time I didn’t get the team as I wanted.” Akonnor revealed on Ghana’s Happy FM.
