The Cameroonian forward, Franck Etouga completed a hattrick as he shrugged off a challenge to give Asante Kotoko a massive three points at home over AshantiGold in a Regional Derby.
Asante Kotoko were held in a goaless draw with AshantiGold in the first half.
The Porcupines stepped forward with the first goal at the 55th minute by the Cameroonian International after Mfegue connected a through pass with a low shot, and the ball was heading into the posts when a defender dived to intercept it with his hand and gave the referee an easy penalty decision to make. Etuoga stood up to it and sent the keeper the wrong way.
Etouga doubled the scoreline at the 67th minute to give the home side a comfortable lead.
The Reds were better side in both departments of the game.
