Kudus Mohammed is currently under treatment since picking up a knock during Ghana’s World Cup qualifier game South Africa in November last year.
The 21-year old midfielder was named among Ghana’s final squad for the tournament in Cameroon.
He was supposed to join the team for preparations before the tournament but Ajax turned down the proposal and took him to the team’s mid-season tour in Portugal.
