Ghana made an unpleasing history and record yesterday, following the short exit from the 33rd edition of the AFCON without a single win. It is the first time the third most successful winners are out of the competition after 16-years.
Many Ghanaian fans insist the Serbian tactician, Milovan Rajevac doesn’t deserve to stay as a coach of the Black Stars again after leading the team for humiliation performance at the AFCON.
Milovan touched down in Ghana for the second time in September 2021 to replace CK Akonnor.
Ghana was crashed out of the AFCON after giving out a chance for the debutant to record their first-ever AFCON win with a 3-2 scoreline.
The General Secretary for the Sports Writers Association of Ghana (SWAG), Charles Osei Asibbey has also called on the Ghana Football Association to show coach Milovan the exit door when the team returns home through a comment on Woezor Tv in Accra and Peace FM
“Sack coach Milo now. Hashtag sack coach Milo now. His excellency and the people who manage football in this country, I’m a journalist, I’m a football person even though am doing arm wrestling, football means so much to us. We do not need that empty thing. If indeed we want to play well in the last qualifier, if indeed we want to get into Cote D’Ivoire, if indeed we want to prepare a quality team for the future then it must be done without this empty thing.”
