The Ghana Football Association has parted ways with the Serbian tactician, Milovan Rajevac following the Black Stars AFCON debacle and worse ever performance at the AFCON 2021.
The GFA led by Mr. Kurt Okraku on Friday, January 21st 2022 met with the Sports Ministry to review the performance of the Ghana national team and the work of the Serbian manager.
The Ministry asked the Ghana Football Association to part ways with Milovan but the football governing body was insisting it will be to close take such a decision due to the upcoming world cup qualifiers in March.
A report from the football administration this morning has confirmed the departure of the Black Stars manager and he will no longer be at the flanks of the team.
Milovan was appointed as Black Stars manager for the second time in September 2021 after CK Akonnor’s departure but failed to lead the team to prevail at the AFCON.
Since his arrival, he played 8 matches and won three, conceded 3 defeats, and drew two.
