Obuasi-based club AshantiGold Sporting Club has completed the signing of German international Henry Haeusler as their new head coach.
Former FC Berlin manager has agreed to pen a two-year contract with the miners. Henry was spotted at the Accra sports stadium in a GPL match in week 14 between Ashantigold and Accra lions which the Obuasi lads won by a lone goal.
He is expected to be on the bench of the miners by next week as the club is still working on the necessary documentation needed for his smooth stay and work in Ghana.
The coach is still lodging in Accra expected to finalize his documentation at the headquarters of Ghana Immigration today, 24th January 2022 before he joins the team in Obuasi.
Ashgold won 1-0 against Accra Lions for their matchday 14 fixture at the Accra Sports Stadium, they are currently 9th on the table with 18 points.
