The last encounter of the GPL week 14 has come to an end with Dreams FC brushing off Aduana Stars by a 3-1 scoreline in Dewu.
Despite the defeat, Aduana Stars has maintained their second position on the table with 24points.
During the first department of the game, the home side fought with an ambitious strike but the defense of the away side was quick to react.
The home side kept on dominating in everything, maintained their impressive and perfect start to get the lead with a great connection from Agyenim Boateng after a cross from Sadat Mohammed at the 41st minute.
Back into the second half, Aduana Stars could not answer Dreams FC’s lead but found themselves locked in the competition.
After playing an hour, Agyenim Boateng fights his way to get the brace to put the home side on a comfortable lead.
Having eased past the visitors with a 2-0 lead already in the game, Dreams ensured they kept Aduana at arm’s length in the race to get another goal from Samuel Boakye who scored from his touch at the 86th minute before a last-minute consolation from Aduana Stars’ Bright Agyei.
The 3-1 victory leaves the home side in the 7th position on the log with 20points.
