Shoking news from the camp Accra Hearts of Oak has indicated that Salifu Ibrahim is out for three weeks due to injury.
The midfield dynamo was injured during their game against Karela United in Anyinase over the weekends.
The club has reported that the midfielder was intentionally knocked by the players of the players.
The Rainbows suffered a slim defeat to the home side on Matchday 14 of the GPL through the goal from Umar Bashiru in the dying minutes of the game.
During the post-match reactions, the Phobia gaffer accused Karela United players of intentionally planning to rule Salifu out of the game.
“We didn’t struggle in the second half but Karela United players planned to injure Salifu Ibrahim just to get him out of the game” he said.
“I will plead with authorities to protect our players because it is very bad for players to hurt their opponents intentionally”
Hearts of Oak is currently on the 8th position of the table with 20points.
