Veteran football administrator and the bankroller of Kumasi King Faisal Alhaji Abdul Karim Grusah has ruled out local coaches for the managerial position of the Black Stars of Ghana.
The owner of King Faisal revealed in an interview on Accra-based Atinka FM that there is no coach in Ghana who is ready to handle the Black Stars now.
Rumour has it that there is an ongoing talks between the Ghana FA and ex-Brighton boss Chris Houghton concerning the managerial position of the Black Stars.
Other reports has also claimed that the team will be given to a local coach as an interim boss ahead of the Nigeria clash in the World Cup qualifiers play-offs before the FA will appoint a permanent coach but the veteran football administrator insists there is no coach in Ghana now who can handle the national team well.
“There is no coach in Ghana who can handle the Black Stars now. Let’s be honest with ourselves.” Alhaji divulged.
