Medeama Sporting club forward Prince Opoku Agyemang has completed a move to premier league new entrants Bibiani Gold Stars after reaching agreement with the club on Monday, ghanasportspage.com can exclusively confirm.
Poku Agyemang was the number one target for coach Michael Osei’s side in the ongoing transfer window, but the Dun’s Park outfit faced a stiffer opposition along the line from defending league champions Accra Hearts of Oak, following a late request by coach Samuel Boadu for the signature of the player.
It became a hot race between the two premier league sides, but the Bibiani based side presented a much more juicier offer both Prince and Medeama could not resist. Opoku Agyemang has consequently signed a two-and-half-year deal for Bibiani Gold Stars on Monday afternoon.
The player registration for the second round of the league closes midnight tomorrow, Tuesday February 1, and Gold Stars have been swift to have the deal done pending medicals to allow them complete the registration of the player with the Ghana Football Association before the closing date.
Prince Opoku Agyemang is now a bonafied property of Bibiani Gold Stars, subject to medicals.
